- I am a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with DreamFold. We are building AI to design proteins which will eventually lead to life-saving medical treatments.
- My non work-related research interest also include problems in:
- Math: self-interacting & emergent systems (interacting particle systems, nonlinear diffusions, mean-field systems); analysis in metric spaces of probability measures (gradient flow, optimal transport, concetration of measure, etc)
- Applied Math: stochastic filtering and control, MCMC / Bayesian inference methods, optimization
- ML: deep Bayesian models; probabilistic / nonparametric ML
- Engineering: robotics, GPU programming

- I am currently a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with DreamFold.
- Before that, I was a Machine Learning Applied Scientist with Microsoft Turing. I worked on research and engineering problems in machine learning for structured data (natural language, graphs/networks, etc), especially large language models (LLMs). My colleagues and I built something pretty cool called the New Bing or BingChat or Microsoft Copilot.
- Before that, I was a Quantitative Analyst for a hedge fund in Toronto which I helped start. It's called Metric Asset Management. I did investing strategy development, software/infrastructure development, and occasionally traded FX derivatives.

- I have a Bachelors of Engineering from Queen's University in Mathematics and Engineering, specializing in Systems and Robotics.
- I have been playing piano almost every day over 20 years. I love it.
- I dabble in photograhy. It's pretty cool.
